Bladder Cancer Stories

On April 17, 2008 I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in my colon, uterus, and ovaries. My doctor first considered surgery but since the cancer had gone to stage 4 he wanted me to go trough chemotherapy. Instead, I began taking Poly-MVA on May 21, 2008. I took 3 IVs of Poly-MVA a week plus 12 tsp a day on opposite days. This was a total of 48 Poly-MVA IVs. After 6 months of treatment, a PET scan showed signs of the colon tumor growing. I began another round of 48 Poly-MVA IVs. After due consideration I decided on chemotherapy. I started chemo January 8, 2009. I continued my Poly-MVA during chemo. I had another set of 48 Poly-MVA IVs during these chemo sessions. I took my last chemotherapy on May 27, 2009. After a PET scan on June 16, 2009 my chemo doctor told me that I was cancer free. I continue to take 12tsp of Poly-MVA per day orally. I am feeling better now and gaining weight and getting my appetite back. I give all the praise to GOD and the guidance HE gave me.

I was diagnosed on 8/1/03 with stage I rectal cancer. I began using Poly-MVA on 8/3/03 on the advise of a friend. Surgery was successful - no chemo or radiation needed. But I knew that I needed to correct some nutritional issues. Eventually I dropped down to 1 tsp of Poly-MVA a day. However, in February '05 my CEA blood work came back elevated; for 7 months I saw my CEA levels steadily rise. In late August '05, I went back to a full dose 8 tsp a day for 3 months. By November '05 my CEA was normal. I backed off my Poly-MVA usage again. And again by early '06 my CEA was up slightly. I went back to a full regime until May '06 when CEA levels were normal again. Since Sept '06 I've been taking 2 tsp, 2 times daily of Poly-MVA. My CEA levels have remained normal.

"I was very fortunate to meet a preacher that had used Poly-MVA for prostate cancer and it had supported his body and helped put his cancer in remission. After taking chemotherapy treatments for 4 years, then this past year using Poly-MVA, I believe the supplement has increased my overall health. I am still doing chemo but feel like doing most all my housework ,and I believe Poly-MVA is giving my body energy and helping to shrink the cancer. Cancer has been in colon, ovarian, liver and lymph nodes. With God's gracious healing and Poly-MVA am looking forward to a great holiday season."

"We are very happy to have discovered Poly-MVA on the internet about 1 ½ years ago. My husband and I think the addition of Poly-MVA to my cancer-fighting approachhas made a great difference in my improvement and overall well-being. I had colon surgery in May 2008 to remove a cancerous polyp and was told the cancer has spread to 2 lymph nodes and I had 4 spots on my liver. I was stage 4 and was told my only hope was to shrink the spots through chemo and have surgery to remove them. I was told the spots would not go away. We declined the surgery although we did take many chemo treatments. After about 6 months of this and also on Poly-MVA, a PET scan revealed that 2 spots had disappeared and the other 2 had shrunk 85-90 %. Praise God! On my latest doctor visit, the doctor said he could find no cancer in my body! Cancer does not have to be a death sentence. We believe God has placed natural healing minerals, vitamins, amino acids, and herbs in the earth that can help mankind overcome this dreaded disease. We would recommend Poly-MVA to anyone’s healing regimen. Don’t give up! Nothing is impossible."

"I have always been most health conscious and had no family history of cancer, yet I was diagnosed with colon cancer in April 2002. I had my ascending colon and right lymph nodes removed at Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital on May 17, 2002. The day after I was released from the hospital I started regular routine acupuncture sessions with my physician, which were a great benefit and speeded my recovery from the surgery. Cancer was also found to be present in one of the thirteen lymph glands; therefore chemotherapy was recommended. I chose not to follow this process due to my years of studying and following the healthiest, most nutritious program including organic foods, and relying on alternative and natural protocols for healing for myself and family. I was surprised when my surgeon told me the colon cancer tumor had been there for over two years, which I was totally unaware of previous to my diagnosis. I taught first grade in the inner city of Columbus and had never missed even one day the year previous to my diagnosis.

My surgeon told me if I'd not followed health care practices as I did I may not have done as well as I had. He wasn't aware of many integrative means to overcome cancer, but told me he'd support me in whatever I chose to do and continue to be my doctor, which he has. My family physician, an MD, constantly educates herself on integrative healing and encourages such. After reading about Poly-MVA in one of Dr. Sinatra's pamphlets, I immediately called to inquire about it. I took the detailed Poly-MVA scientific research booklet I'd received into my doctor who immediately started to read it, spent several minutes reading it, and said, "This doctor is on to something. May I have this to read?" I told her it was hers. She supported my using Poly-MVA and has encouraged me to continue on Poly-MVA. I have been taking Poly-MVA ever since discovering it right after my cancer surgery and am most grateful for Dr. Garnett, AMARC, and all who help make Poly-MVA available. I pray it will soon be FDA approved. I followed the maximum dosage of 8 teaspoons daily for two months and then dropped down to 4 teaspoons daily until this last month.

My yearly colonoscopy showed no cancer whatsoever. The ultrasounds and CT scans have revealed no cancer in my body. I am most thankful and grateful that there has not been a recurrence even though I chose not to follow the recommended chemotheraphy. I am continuing to use the maintenance dose of Poly-MVA as well as the immune support program which I have listed as follows: Transfer Factor Plus, Coq10, MGN3, Moducare (sterolins), milkthistle phytosome (with artichoke leaf, dandelion root, and tumeric) for my liver, wheatgrass juice (I grow and juice myself that my doctor told me to do from the time I was diagnosed with cancer), biogenic aloe vera, hyssop (which I attribute to being the main factor helping normalize my red blood count), barley grass powder, quercitin complex, Helix Plus, Risotriene, ester C, garlic, B complex, B12 shots weekly. (I eat some fish and once in a great while chicken or turkey, according to my blood type), astragalus, sarsaparilla, burdock, vitamin E, bromelain and other enzymes. I also take Sun Chorella and amino acids, particularly L-carnitine, L-Lysine and taurine.

I follow eating according to my blood type, rarely ever straying away from such. I mostly followed it previous to having had cancer, but I now eliminated peanuts and soy products due to discovering these contain substances that persons having cancer should not eat. At first, growing wheatgrass, juicing it, taking so many things (some added over time), seemed almost overwhelming, but I concentrated on being thankful for discovering things that would help me and persevered on making it part of my daily routine. I have much energy and am very active daily. I am most thankful for regaining my strength and health. I pray others will believe there is hope, have faith, persevere, and overcome.

UPDATE 2-12-2004: As stated in my previous testimony after colon cancer surgery May 17, 2002 I refused chemotherapy, as recommended. I have continuously taken Poly-MVA since learning about it immediately following my surgery. I have lowered and been on a daily dosage of two teaspoon for several months now. Since surgery, I have had numerous tests for detecting cancer at several medical favilities, the last a CT scan in October 2003 and CEA test in December 2003 done at OSU James Cancer Center, Columbus, Ohio where I had my previous surgery. All tests since my surgery have shown me cancer free, praise God."

"After my bladder cancer operation in 08/04, I began taking Poly-MVA. Since that time I have been going back to the V.A. hospital every 3 months for observation. I underwent ten B.C.G treatments, but I also took Poly-MVA, vitamins and minerals. I have always been active and I still am. Several months ago during my exam the doctor stated that there was not even a scar where my tumor was removed. I am currently on a maintenance dose of Poly-MVA. My wife also takes the product."

"On 8/8/09 after cutting grass on a riding lawn motor for 2 hours I went to urinate and was passing blood. I went to my regular doctor and he immediately made an appointment with Dr. Lange of a urology group of Fort Smith. After they scooped my bladder they found a massive cancerous tumor in my bladder. The next day I was in surgery to remove it. They could not get it all for fear of getting in to the bladder wall. A month later they went back in to surgery with success; two months later one more time to clear it up again. They suggested a chemo treatment for the bladder. In the meantime I became acquainted with Dr. Jerry Vin who lived across the street from US. I started on Poly-MVA as recommended. I did not take the chemo treatment! I have had periodic exams every 3 months, then six months. It has not reoccurred! For the last 6 months I am now using Poly-MVA in a maintenance dose every day. I am so pleased to have the peace of mind that I am doing something positive for my system through the continued maintenance program! I am 75 years old and still alive." UPDATED April 2012: Since January of 2011, I have moved with my family to a new home. At my last check up was on August of 2011. Everything is “A” ok. I am still on the maintenance dose and everything is working fine. I thank AMARC for the great product of Poly-MVA. I am 77 years old. I am looking forward to many happy years."

"I have been fighting bladder cancer since July 4, 1972, with many recurrences. It began as a pediculated squamous cell type and was easily resected. Several more of the same type over the years also were resected. Then the type of cancer morphed into Transitional Cell in the lining of the bladder. I do not remember the exact date but simple resection was not an option, so we began regular doses of chemotherapy. This went on for several years, with multiple hospitalizations for biopsy, repeated Intravenous Pyelograms and repeated Cystoscopies. When, finally, I began to tire of the chemo and decided to investigate other possibilities on the internet. That is when I discovered Poly-MVA. After discussion with Gary Matson at AMARC, the decision was made. I began taking Poly-MVA in March of 2004 and in October 2004 my urine lab test came back NEGATIVE…….meaning I was in remission. I have continued to take small doses of Poly-MVA since then and my annual urine tests have remained negative, thus continual remission. I will plan to take Poly-MVA for the remainder of my life. I am now 76 and plan to live to the 90s with God’s blessing."

"I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in August 2006. I had the usual surgery and treatment for the cancer, which consisted of removal of 2 tumors in the bladder, graded level 1 & 3. I am 67 years old, and this was the first time I ever had any operation of any kind. After the procedure, the urologist stated there was nothing else for treatment or prevention, but check-ups every 3 months done through cystoscopy, since this cancer has a high rate of reoccurrence in males. My wife and I were not happy with the facts the urologist gave us, and decided to do some research on our own. We went to the Cancer Prevention Society, in September of 2006 in Los Angeles, CA, and came upon the product Poly-MVA. We talked to Dr. Forsythe, who was doing a presentation in which he was stating the benefits of using Poly-MVA along with other approaches. I have been using Poly-MVA since September 2006, all my cystoscopy follow-ups have been excellent. I would recommend Poly-MVA to anyone with any type of cancer, along with any recommended treatment they are receiving."

"August 19, 1999 - Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my journey in fighting this most dreaded disease. I am a 65-year-old psychologist who in 1996 was diagnosed with bladder cancer. A transurethral resection was followed by periodic cystoscopy examinations at Emory Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia. By patient preference, I chose not to undergo suggested chemotherapy. I remained asymptomatic until December 1998 when laboratory studies revealed active cancer again. I had the Arthur Malignancy Index or AMID test performed which showed a large tumor mass; The Smith Kline Laboratory panels revealed an NK Cell count of 2, clearly indicative of immune system degeneration. This test was performed several times to rule out erroneous results.

William Crawford, a naturopath, was my physician. Dr. Crawford was on staff at the Oasis Hospital in Baja, California. I followed the nutritional protocol developed for me by Dr. Crawford, which included using Poly-MVA twice daily. At this time I am doing well as evidenced by the laboratory reports I have received, and, more importantly, by the way I feel.
The Poly-MVA has done remarkable things to my immune system with repeated AMID tests showing an excellent rating of "GOOD;" Recent NK numbers are now at an amazing level of 59. Tests also show a diminished tumor mass in me. I am faithfully continuing complimentary and/or alternative healthcare.

I have been very pleased with the results obtained by taking Poly-MVA used in conjunction with Clodronate. My energy level has soared and has sustained at the point I was 4 years ago. My total program includes proper nutrition, exercise and a positive spiritual understanding that life is a gift from God, to be used wisely. It is my desire and prayer to encourage and inform others, with special emphasis on Poly-MVA.

UPDATE June 27, 2001: For several months now I have been talking on the phone with a number of you who are vitally interested in Poly-MVA, either for yourselves or someone you love and care for. I trust this update will serve as encouragement and incentive to give Poly-MVA continued opportunity to do it's unique work. In 1996 I put aside plans to open a counseling center in the Atlanta area. It took several months after cancer was diagnosed to recuperate from a transurethral resection of the bladder. The immune system was severely compromised, and pneumonia persisted. By patient preference, I did not have the suggested chemotheraphy or radiation, but chose to embark on an intense search to find well documented, well tested alternative treatments for cancer. It did not take long to find Al Sanchez who was fully prepared to explain and substantiate why Poly-MVA was excellent in building up and supporting the entire immune system. For extended periods, Poly-MVA was a defined part of my prevention protocol. However, during my husband's illness, my system became weakened. An elevated count of cancer cells was found again last December. With Al Sanchez's encouragement, I went back on a heavy program of Poly-MVA, and thank God, I am now considered to be in remission. All the lab work is within normal range, and balance has been regained. It takes work, determination and persistance to maintain the battle against cancer.

Poly-MVA has been the the foundation for my ongoing treatment of cancer. "It is THE super, free-radical scavanger and extremely powerful antioxident" which I believe has helped to bring me to this chapter of remission. I continue to take a maintenance dosage of Poly-MVA daily, and am pleased with my energy level. In fact I have had no further lung infections or pneumonia which plagued me for several months after my dear husband died last year. It is a noteworthy that good nutrition is essential for continued good health, so I am careful to choose the right diet. As you all know, it takes special care to get enough rest and exercise.

Above all, I am thankful to God for an extended time period in which to fulfill the dream my husband and I began to put together in early 2000. It was our prayer and desire to open a retreat center in the mountains north of Atlanta, with the main purpose of providing a place for patients to come who had been given diagnoses of cancer. Tender care can be provided at this Christian Retreat called The Haven, to help individuals deal with levels of fear, anger and denial. Family members who need support and guidance from understanding counselors can be taught to cope more effectively With renewed courage and strength, The Haven is becoming a reality. As you continue your own courageous journey, remember we are doing much more than just surviving, We are learning to be thriving in body, soul and spirit with God's help! I pray you will be blessed, and I have been, by all that is experienced in living fully while He lends us breath.

UPDATE January 20, 2003: It is especially meaningful for me to share that the sixth year post diagnosis of bladder cancer report is excellent. The latest medical examination found "the bladder to be normal with smooth walls with no abnormalities, no lesions seen and no areas or erythema appreciated." In layman's terms, this means I am still free of tumors with no sign of cancer. The specialist repeated verbatim his statement from last year that he was both pleased and surprised. "It is very unusual for your type of cancer not to reappear. You are my only patient that has experienced this." When I reminded him of Poly-MVA, he remarked, "Whatever you're doing, just keep it up." I smiled saying " My times are in God's hands, and I've got a good plan going."

My maintenance dose of Poly-MVA, is still in order, taking 1/2 teaspoon morning and 1/2 teaspoon evening. Much of my continued energy level I owe to Poly-MVA, ever grateful there has been no recurrence of pneumonia or flu for the past two years. In the absence of my beloved Carl who died July of 2002 of liver cancer, I must choose to keep positive, choose to keep disciplined, choose to keep planning proper nutrition and exercise. I must to create fun times, including a coveted art class and strengthen bonds with friends. All of this combines to give a good measure of "inner and outer strength" for hours of counseling and teaching which I love, and development of The Haven, a Christian Retreat Center in the beautiful Georgia mountains. This is some retirement program! No doubt other survivors have found, as have I, that there is an exquisite balance we must seek. Continued care of ourselves must not lead to selfish preoccupation, or morbid introspection. But, with God's help, we who have responded well to Poly-MVA can offer solid information to others who may still be confused and doubting. Accurate, timely sharing allows for God to reveal creative ways for each of us to live life more fully and love more clearly. It's our choice. Let's rejoice!

UPDATE February 20, 2004: I am going to have tests repeated in March, and will happily send you a current update. At this time I am strong, well and wonderfully busy in the ministry of counseling. I still go one week to Birmingham, 3 l/1 hrs away where I counsel about 21 people in the 3 days there. Then I go to North Carolina to see cancer patients, an autistic child and several other dear folk the next week. I do telephone counseling and office counseling here in Atlanta; the cup...AND saucer are full. It's an unusual package God has put together, but I love it. There is a "keeping power of God" which encircles those of us who trust Him. May you be very aware of His Presence this day May His love guide you as you reach many, many travelers on this journey.

UPDATE May 12, 2004: Greetings!! I'm delighted to let you know the latest Lab Reports show excellent levels and a strong Immune System. These just came in yesterday, so I'm thanking the Lord I have good news to pass on. A Black Field Microscopy test in January showed slight cancer activity, but that also is now reduced. I waited until now to give the latest and most accurate report. I am continuing the protocol of Poly maintenance of 1/2 teaspoon AM and PM along with the supplements that keep me in good health. I came thru a flu attack in January which lasted only days instead of the usual debilitating 4 weeks. I attribute this to Poly-MVA which provides an excellent defense against such infections. In a few weeks I will be celebrating my 70th! I asked the Lord to give me more life in my years, and not just years to my life, and He has. I am full of energy and working strong and steady in the counseling ministry.

UPDATE July 17, 2004: I'm excited about the upcoming Convention since this year I really have a testimonial that continues to amaze me. The newest Lab Reports and even the Osteoporosis report are well within normal range, signifying good maintenance and positive progress. My medical friends, which are many, are still shaking their heads. One MD who is the main Breast Cancer Surgeon on staff at the YUB Hospital in Birmingham can't reckon with the fact I did not submit to his knife, but am coming up with excellent Lab reports and no cancer cells evident! I thank the Lord daily for His healing thru the Poly-MVA protocol and just keep taking on God's assignments in counseling ministry wherever he opens the doors.

UPDATE January 26, 2007: I have been waiting to contact you until I received the latest Cancer Report. I just finished the yearly Cystoscopy Exam last week and the Dr has declared again I am cancer free. Hallelujah!! Several other tests he took also came in showing no Cancer cells at all! So I am passing along good news, and thanking God for His watchful healing. I still get 1 to 2 calls weekly, asking for support or info and I gladly pass on what Poly-MVA has done for my cancer levels. I remain a loyal supporter!

UPDATE July 3, 2009: (Phone testimonial) Nancy called today to report that she had a scan of her bladder this past March 2009 and her bladder continues to be totally cancer free. Her Oncologist told her that she is his only bladder cancer patient in 25 years that has not had a recurrence. She is beating all of the odds. Nancy was diagnosed in 1996. She started on Poly-MVA in 1998 and has been in complete remission from bladder cancer since 1999. Nancy feels that Poly-MVA is the primary reason she is alive and well. She continues taking 1 teaspoon daily for maintenance. She still receives many calls regarding her story and refers them on to Poly-MVA.
